Circular hike Zerna

To the starting point you can either get by bike or car on the country road Döbern via Jerischke or from Forst (Lausitz) via Groß Bademeusel to Pusack.The hike starts at the former Neiße bridge Pusack (D) / Groß Särchen (PL). Guided by the sign To the NSG Zerna, the path leads on the asphalt road Pusack-Jerischke about 200 m towards Jerischke and then turns left into a forest path. Through the mixed forest, you reach the so-called Grenzerquelle with the approximately 200-year-old beech trees. From the rest area, the path leads uphill and reaches the cobblestone road. About 30 m downhill, on the right side, farms of Pusack are bypassed by a romantic forest path.Below the Lachberge, 100 m away, the hike starts with the bridge over the Lachgraben to the NSG Zerna, which mainly consists of dense spruce forest that is crossed by the Hansel and Gretel path. After the bridge, we turn right onto the forest path, which in the last section runs parallel to the Brandenburg - Saxony state border and merges onto the paved Oder-Neiße cycle path.
