From the Kurpark we climb up the Ettersklippe. Once at the top, we continue our hike to the Molkenhaus and take a rest here in a friendly atmosphere. We continue along the Braunschweiger Weg until we reach the Eckertalsperre - a marvel of engineering. We take the path on the western side of the Eckertalsperre and follow the Pionierweg until we reach the Eckerquerung. On the eastern side, in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, we hike back to the reservoir and from there back to the Molkenhaus the same way. Here we then follow the Kaiserweg to the Großer Burgberg and hike back down to the valley to the Kurpark, our starting point.
