Bike Arena Sauerland - To the Henne

The first section of the tour from Olsberg to Meschede runs along the Ruhr through the villages of Nuttlar, Bestwig, Velmede, and Heinrichsthal. In Meschede, you cross the Ruhr, drive across Kaiser-Otto-Platz, then along Steinstraße, which you leave to the left after the county hall and turn right immediately after the bridge. After a short ascent, you reach the Hennesee dam, which pedestrians can also climb via the Himmelsbrücke.
The tour now continues flat along the traffic-free east bank of the Hennesee to Mielinghauser Bucht.
This is followed by a few challenging climbs to Remblinghausen and Löllinghausen, before reaching the highest point at 431 m in Klause. The undulating journey continues through Heringhausen and Gevelinghausen. The last kilometers are downhill, back to the starting point of the tour in Olsberg.
