Ringtour 12 - Elbe dyke route - Cheese cake tour -

Start and finish of the route is the town of Winsen (Luhe) with its castle, the Marstall, and the Luhegärten. From here, the path leads to the northwest, along the Luhe cycle path, over the Stöckter Deich to Hoopte. We continue on the most popular German cycle path, the Elbe Cycle Path, to Laßrönne and Drage. Various stork nests accompany our way here. In Rönne, the fish ladder, the largest of its kind in Europe, invites you to take a short break. On the way, we enjoy the charm of the Elbe river landscape with its old stock of hedgerows and mighty oak and fruit tree avenues. From Avendorf, we continue through meadows, fields, and picturesque villages such as Bütlingen and Oldershausen with their large, old farmhouses. Before we return to the starting point, cafes invite you to take a short break.
