1. Niederrheinallee 315/Corner Leineweberplatz, "Residential and Commercial Building"
Built around 1800 as a residential house with a nail forge - around 1870, the manufacturer Peter Samanns opens a grocery and manufacturing store here with its own production of cloth and clothing fabrics - in 1899, he builds a quilt factory on Rayener Straße, which lasts until 1957
2. Niederrheinallee 309 - 311, "Residential and Commercial Building"
Built in 1835 by Johann Springen with a park and garden house in half-timbered construction - family-owned since then - Johann Springen employs numerous home weavers and founds a "Mechanical Inlett Weaving Mill" in 1842/43, which his sons continue - son Gottfried lives with his family in the parental house - in 1945, his daughter Ilse Hartmann opens a stationery and toy store here, which lasts until 1984
3. Springenvilla
Oldest part of the building complex (Am Klotzfeld 1) built by Peter Samanns as a prayer healing institution - from 1892 operated under the name "Versorgungshaus" as a mother, child, and infant home of the Inner Mission Society - the Springenvilla located on Niederrheinallee dates back to the founding period - Johann Springen operated an Inlett weaving mill towards the end of the 19th century - The thriving textile industry enables the manufacturer to build the stylish building - the adjacent factory is demolished in 1981, so that only the Springenvilla reminds of the heritage of Vluyn's industrial history - since the 1960s, Springenvilla and the buildings on Klotzfeld house facilities of the Grafschafter Diakonie (including a nursing home) - listed building since 1994
4. Niederrheinallee 320, "Post Office Vluyn"
Built in 1888 as a rental post office with house number 47 1/9 by the merchant Gerhard Samanns - an extension of the rear semi-circular staircase and the self-service office is added in 1931 - in operation as a post office until 2001 - listed building since 1991
5. Pastoratstraße 5 - 7, "Drogerie Göschel"
Built in 1894 by the Vluyner master builder Johannes Huhn - Wilhelm Göschel, the son-in-law, opens a well-stocked department store here - in 1927, his son Hans Göschel expands the business and operates the first pharmacy with a photo department in Vluyn with his sister Annie, which remains until the 1970s
6. Pastoratstraße 15, "Doctor's House"
Built around 1820 - from 1851 to 1879, the residence and practice of the first-class surgeon August Göschel. He is an authorized company surgeon and obstetrician with the 7th Artillery Brigade Wesel - in 1885, Dr. Hugo Hertel takes over the medical practice and practices there until 1909. While August Göschel visits his patients on horseback, Dr. Hugo Hertel prefers to travel by carriage
7. Pastoratstraße 18, "Old Parsonage"
First mentioned in 1658 as Wedenhof, it is one of the oldest buildings in Vluyn - from 1791, it serves as the parsonage of the Vluyn evangelical church community as a two-story brick building with a rear stable part - expanded in 1803 - used as a rectory until 1909 - after other uses, it has been the residence of the Vluyner pastors since 1982 - listed building since 1982
8. Pastoratstraße 23, "Ev. Community Hall"
Planned and executed in 1895 by master bricklayer Tilmann Geldermann - in 1911, the main entrance in the middle of the building is replaced by two separate entrances to better utilize the two interior rooms. The door leaves are original - listed building since 1991
9. Vluyn Station
With the construction of the Vluyner train station on May 1, 1909, the first section of the Moerser Kreisbahn Moers - Vluyn - Schaephuysen is put into operation - in addition to passengers, it transports livestock and industrial goods, mainly coal since the establishment of the Niederberg colliery - during World War II, the railway also transports the forced laborers of the mine to Dickscheheide - until September 28, 1968, approximately 50 million people travel on the county railway
10. Niederrheinallee 331, "Kellerkamer"
Built as a burgher house at the beginning of the 18th century - one of the oldest buildings in Vluyn - the facade shows on the left side the eponymous Kellerkamer, the room above the cellar. This is located between the floors due to the shallower excavation depth of the cellar - in 1745, it was the residence and office of the community leader Wilhelm Pannenbecker, where the Vluyner shooting silver was mostly auctioned - around 1920, Jakob Neumeyer runs a bakery & confectionery here - listed building since 1981
11. Niederrheinallee 337, "Residential and Factory Building"
Built in 1822 as a residential and company headquarters by the cotton manufacturer Jakob Jans, known as Küppers - by 1850, the largest employer in Vluyn with up to 150 home weavers - Jakob Jans is a co-founder of the Vluyner post station - from 1841 and from 1845 vice president and promoter of the Neukirchener Educational Association - since 1878, the house has been owned by the Kremers/Beckmann family - listed building since 1991
12. Niederrheinallee 343, "Gasthof zur Post"
The building with the former house number Vluyn 22 serves as the first post office of Vluyn from 1841 to 1888 - the first postmaster is Heinrich Jans - in addition to the post office with a Morse station, there is also a colonial goods store in the house - the "Gasthof zur Post" built around the mid-19th century and stop for the mail coach from Moers to Aldekerk exist until 1905 - then, until 1957, in the rear building, the "Niederrheinische-Dampf-Kaffee-Rösterei" operated
13. Kirchplatz, "Vluyn Village Church" (already corrected)
The St. Antonius Chapel was first mentioned in 1482 - after the Reformation of the Grafschaft Moers in 1580, it became the evangelical village church - in 1614, it became an independent parish - parts of the bell tower still date back to the 15th century - an image of the Antonius cross in the masonry to the right of the main portal - extensive renovation of the church at the beginning of the 21st century
14. Schulplatz 12, "Residential and Commercial Building"
Built in 1899 by Peter Minhorst - the facade is original - in 1825, the Minhorst seed wholesale business was founded - farmers' horse-drawn wagons parked at the left loading ramp - listed building since 1999
15. Rayenerstraße 21, "Old Forge"
In 1853, the couple Bernhard and Sybilla Hufen acquire the forge workshop with a residential house from the mason J. Tendick, who emigrates to America - the Hufen family works here as blacksmiths for wagon construction and horseshoeing over four generations until 1974
16. Feldstraße 20, "Teacher's House"
The oldest part of the house was acquired in 1828 by Peter Kremers. From 1899, Peter Wittfeld and his sister Agnes run a colonial goods store here - at the beginning of the 20th century, the house is nicknamed "Teacher's House" because the first floor of the front house is inhabited by the unmarried teachers of the Vluyner village school
17. Am Klotzfeld, "Nursing Home"
