Historical mountain passes across the Teutoburg Forest

We will guide you from the starting point ADFC-Station Bad Meinberg on nature-friendly sections and agricultural paths to the Silberbachtal. From there, you ascend on forest roads to the ridge (watershed Weser / Rhine) of the Teutoburg Forest / Egge Mountains and on a medieval Hellweg trail towards Neuenbeken on the western edge of the mountains. You cycle down to Bad Lippspringe to the source of the Lippe and the impressive park grounds. Follow our route on hidden paths through the flat cultural landscape of Senne to the Fürstenallee with the historic inn Kreuzkrug. From there, you climb the ridge of the Teutoburg Forest a second time on natural roads and roll steeply down to the inn Hangstein above Berlebeck. From here, a short detour to the Adlerwarte Berlebeck is worthwhile, then you cycle on small roads and through the fields back to the starting point.
