RUHR-LENNE-Achter - great cycling tour between Sauerland and Ruhr area

The starting point could be, for example, the city train station in Iserlohn. You can orientate yourself on the intersection tables: 55, 52, 49, 50, 48, 36, 34, 21, 22, 25, 38, 63, 64, 72 to 56 Iserlohn Letmathe, here it continues on 55 to the Iserlohn city train station.
Former railway tracks and river cycle paths are often used for the route. On the railway track cycle path from Iserlohn train station, it then goes via Hemer to Menden. From there on the Hönnetal cycle path to the Ruhr River. The entire Ruhr-Lenne loop continues on the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path to the mouth of the Lenne River. Further on the Lenne route to Iserlohn-Letmathe and from here back to Iserlohn train station. You can shorten the route via the Baartal cycle path from intersection 22 further via: 30, 32, 53, 52, 55.
In rare cases, this cycling route is completed in the full loop. Rather, you can either do the long round of approximately 68 km, the eastern one on the former railway tracks (family-friendly round) of around 42 km, or the western one, not suitable for families, of around 52 km individually.
