The first part of the sporty route runs mainly on forestry paths. The second part is characterized by forest and meadow paths, which demand a lot of technical riding skills from mountain bikers. The shorter and longer climbs are also not to be sneezed at. After the start in Oberndorf, the route immediately climbs slightly uphill in Kreuzgrund and then, after a transition to a forest path, demands a lot of strength. After reaching the Hock stone, the route quickly descends into the Orber Grund. After a short ascent, the tour leads along a forest path near the village of Burgjoß and down into the Spirkelbach valley. The first highlight of this tour awaits mountain bikers just before the village of Mernes. After leaving the forest behind, the route leads over a meadow path into an old hollow path that leads to Mernes. This descent places increased demands on the mountain biker. If this is too boring for you, you can integrate one or two ramps into the descent, which are located at the edge of the path. The Stackenberg is the next challenge before you can enjoy the magnificent view over a unique heathland landscape and into the Jossa valley. On a clear day, you can see the Wasserkuppe and the Kreuzberg in the Rhön. After a short break, the tour now leads along the Hessian-Bavarian border. The route continues steadily up and down along forest and meadow paths into the Auragrund. Another short ascent awaits mountain bikers here before you reach the starting point of the tour again with a great view of the Jossa valley and meadow paths.
