The starting point of the hiking trail is in Bernried (Catholic Church of St. Maria and St. Wendelin, 1922/23, neo-baroque with furnishings). The trail follows the Stations of the Cross to the Bruder-Klaus Chapel. It then leads into the forest to Schatzendorf. At the end of the village, the path branches off to the right. Marketsried is reached via Löwenbrunn and Haselried. Here hikers can enjoy a beautiful view to the south. You can quench your thirst in the pub. The route back to Bernried then offers great views.
