Petrés is a municipality in the comarca of Ribera in the Valencian Community, Spain. Belonging to the province of Valencia, in the region of Campo de Murviedro.
Municipality located in the low valley of the river Palancia, also called in the Middle Ages and Modern river of Morvedre. The relief of the term presents only three important accidents: the Palancia River, which limits the term to the south, and the Rodana and Ponga mountains, whose slopes penetrate from the north, reaching a maximum altitude of 185 m. in a hill of Triassic sandstones that rises to the northwest of the population.
