The Plaza Mayor is located in the heart of the city. No traffic is allowed on this square. If you want to come here to relax for a while, you will find yourself in an oasis of peace and beauty. In medieval times, this square was outside the city walls and was called Plaza de Arribal. At that time, the square was a stage for gruesome scenes such as gladiator and bullfights.
