The old church of Santa Cruz de Roda, now known by the name of Santa Helena, is located in the deserted area of Santa Creu de Rodes, very close to the monastery of San Pedro de Roda, in the municipality of Puerto de la Selva. It has been of Cultural Interest since 1997. [1]
This church has a very ancient origin, as evidenced by the fact that in 2007 it was found next to it and under an abandoned village house, a cemetery that should be placed chronologically between the eighth and ninth centuries.
