The Basilica of Sant Miquel is located at Carrer de Sant Miquel, No. 21, in the city of Mallorca. It is considered the oldest temple in Palma, one of the four earliest in the city. It occupies the site of an ancient Muslim mosque.
The Muslim mosque, where this church stands, was used as a Christian temple in the 13th century. In the 14th century, the construction of the new Christian temple began. In the 17th century, renovations were made, the space was enlarged, and the orientation was changed.
