Santa Maria de Gràcia or Mare de Déu de Gràcia was a convent that no longer exists in the municipality of L'Escala, inside what are now the ruins and excavations of Empúries. Practically collapsed at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, the few remains of the church were restored and integrated into the Monographic Museum of Empúries. The convent, founded by the Servites in 1606, was half a kilometer south of Sant Martí and one kilometer north of the town of L'Escala on a hill near the Gulf of Roses. In the convent complex the church is to the north. The community consisted of about a dozen friars. There are references to the presence of an image of a found brunette Madonna. The convent was secularized in 1835 and was gradually ruined until the Board of Museums remodelled it as the headquarters of the Museum of Empúries in the 1910s, becoming its physical headquarters, warehouses and exhibition. In the exhibition of the Museum, among others, the works Sacrifice of Iphigenia and Asclepius of Empúries stand out.
