The chapel of San José de Onda is mentioned in 1786. It underwent renovations in 1807 and 1849, one of which probably gave rise to the current ornamentation.
It is a square chapel with a hemispherical dome divided into eight segments. The roof of the dome is made of hipped glazed tiles.
