The castle of Mogente is a fortress located in the municipality of Mogente, on a mountain from which the town can be overlooked.
Recent excavations have revealed remains of a Bronze Age settlement at the site where the castle is located. However, the origin of the castle seems to be from the Arab era, and mainly from the Almohad period. Different styles and techniques are evident in its construction.
