Castle of Carles or Castle of Toscar is a building located in the municipality of Alfara de Carles. It consists of significant remains of walls on a rocky peak, on an outcrop of Montcaro or Caro, in the Ports Natural Park. It is situated at the top of a small hill in the middle of the Toscà valley and surrounded by taller mountains. Only remnants of walls and stretches of the ramparts remain, constructed of unplastered masonry of little thickness, with some pieces of masonry in a spike shape. It features stones at the corners. It is an entity declared as a cultural asset of national interest.
