Spanish Judicial School

The Spanish Judicial School is a public body, of an administrative nature, that is integrated into the General Council of the Judiciary, from which it depends both for budgetary and organizational purposes.

From an institutional point of view, the dependency of the CGPJ also implies its independence, both from the legislative sphere and from the governmental one. Furthermore, due to its location within the governing body of judges, it does not have an organic link with the jurisdictional structure of the courts, even though its reason for being is to serve them and the entire judicial career.
