The Gavarresa Valley is a natural geographical area, cohesive around the middle and lower courses of the Gavarresa Stream. It is partially located in the regions of Bages and Moianès and includes, although not officially defined, the municipalities of Santa Maria d'Oló, Avinyó, Artés, Calders, and Monistrol de Calders. Other documents limit the valley's boundaries to just the municipalities of Avinyó and Artés.
