The Alto Guadalentín or also, since 2007, Comarca de Lorca is a comarca in the Region of Murcia, whose capital is Lorca, named after being located at the upper part of the Guadalentín River, previously known as Campo de Lorca, including Mazarrón.
The comarca covers a total of 2072 km², a very extensive territory in the west of the province of Murcia. Here, towns, coastal and inland landscapes, plains and mountains, orchards and barren lands, forests and desolate slopes coexist. So much so that it seems like a small province within another.
