The Cirque de Baiau is a cirque of glacial origin located at the head of the Noguera de Vallferrera river in the municipality of Alins.
The baiau circus is defined and enclosed by the mountain ranges and peaks that go from the peak of Lavans, in the north, to the peak of Vallpeguera. The mountain range between the peak of Medacorba and the peak of Sanfonts, forms the border with the Principality of Andorra. The southwest end of the circus is delimited by the neighbouring Escorbes circus, where the homonymous ponds are.
