Located in the heart of Córdoba's historic quarter, this majestic Renaissance palace now houses the Archaeological and Ethnological Museum of Córdoba.
It was designed in the 16th century by the architect Hernán Ruiz II. The main facade is reminiscent in design of the beautiful Puerta del Puente. Inside, the three beautiful courtyards , filled with archaeological objects, stand out. The architecture of the rooms, courtyards, staircases and coffered ceilings, fountains and plant decorations give the whole an attractive, pure Cordovan atmosphere.
In one of the courtyards, which looms from memory, the terraces have been preserved in the form of a grandstand that gave access to a Roman theater.
