Mairé is a French commune with 169 inhabitants in the Vienne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region; it belongs to the Châtellerault arrondissement and the Châtellerault-3 canton. The inhabitants are called Mairéens. Mairé is located about 21 kilometers east-northeast of Châtellerault. The Creuse borders the commune to the east and northeast. Neighboring communes of Mairé are Leugny and La Guerche to the north, Barrou to the east and northeast, Lésigny to the southeast, Coussay-les-Bois to the south, and Oyré to the west.
