The Deschodt Mill is a post mill located in the municipality of Wormhout in the Nord department in northern France.
It is a very heavy mill which, for economic reasons, is made entirely of wood. The year of construction is 1756. The mill contains the inscription: MADE BY INGELBERTUS MARTYNUS ENDE PHILLIPUS FRANCOIS DE SMYTTERE 1756. The two-storey mill has an estimated weight of 80 tonnes and the sails have a wingspan of 24 metres. That is why the mill is called le géant des Flandres. The cabinet of the mill has been widened with a galley.
