Description

The fountain was built in 1549 by Hans Beltzi, one of the master builders of the Collegiate Church.

The Vosges sandstone console features the coat of arms of the town of Thann, surmounted by the statue of Saint-Thiébaut, bishop of Gubbio (1500), from the Porte du Rhin, installed in 1840 to replace the previous statue destroyed during the French Revolution.
