Located between the villages of Trefcon and Caulaincourt, Trefcon British Cemetery in Caulaincourt contains 290 graves of soldiers killed mainly during the battle to retake the villages in September 1918. This battle followed the German occupation of the villages, which began on March 22, 1918. The cemetery was created by the British IX Corps (6th and 32nd Divisions). It contains 290 soldiers, 289 of whom were killed in the First World War and 1 in the Second. Of the 289 soldiers who fell in the First World War, 276 are identified (275 British and one Indian) and 13 remain unknown.
