The trinquet, which comes from the old "tripots" where the Courte Paume was played, is a covered place, therefore usable in all seasons, where you can practice the bare hand, the xare and the paleta.
The Haizburu trinquet of Guéthary, inaugurated in 1981, is one of the few trinquet that offers the possibility, by sliding the drum from the bottom, to bring the playing area up to the international standards of the so-called "Argentinean" trinquet.
