The Gothic style church stands in the middle of the village. The bell tower solemnly culminates in the air, one might think the 1889 building is untouchable. Yet 35 shells hit the nearby area in November 1944, causing considerable damage. Barely four years later, the building that was dear to the hearts of the inhabitants was rehabilitated. It was the first church to be rebuilt after the war in the diocese.
