In the heart of the Périgord Noir, the gardens of Haute-Terre, known as the gardens on the roof of the Sarladais, were created in 2000 within the Hermitage Nature Park.
Dominant, embracing the distant, they open to the discovery: crucible of biodiversity.
In great freedom, these ethnobotanical study gardens provide resources, information and transmission: a multi-branch discovery with a naturalist structure, on a 4 hectare area. Man's historical heritage in the heart of a geodesic, archaeological, panoramic and geological site on the Upper Cretaceous sea bed.
A great evolutionary garden where the past joins the present, in this long chain of Man at the heart of the Whole which unfolds there
To discover quietly.
