Today it is in the form it was given in the 19th century, but it is much earlier, it seems to be from the 15th century. In the past, it was topped by a pepperpot roof with dormer windows to let pigeons in. The dovecote is on two levels and each one has numerous holes for pigeon nesting boxes, the latter are made of terracotta tiles. The stone cornice which prevented pests from entering is also interesting.
