Today the residence of the sub-prefect, it is one of the oldest hospital foundations in the city
Although its origins remain obscure, texts mention it for the first time in 1292, when it was under the command of the Templars of Robécourt
At least partly rebuilt in the 16th century, it was the subject of major alterations in the 18th century thanks to Hénin Liétard. The left wing and its interior decoration probably date from this period
The hospital was sold as a national asset in 1793 and was bought by the department in 1823.
