The Cascade des Ondines was originally called Wasserfelsen. It is a natural site that is worth a visit. At its summit, you can discover an old wash-house. The wide retaining wall was built around 1860 during the construction of the Lemberg-Bitche railway line. From here, the stream flows over imposing sandstone slabs to form beautiful waterfalls, which are particularly impressive in winter. The thin stream of water here forms the very first beginnings of the Northern Zinzel.
The waterfall can be reached from the Club Vosgien chalet in Lemberg (go down the stairs and then follow the yellow ring).
