Situated 13 kilometres from Sarreguemines, Wittring is a small village that has developed at the foot of a hill in a loop of the Saar
From the chapel on the hillside you can admire the whole village as well as the Saar and its canal.
The village has the peculiarity of having a harbour with a harbour master's office.
The port has 12 berths which are provided with water, electricity, a picnic area and a restaurant.
There is also a parking lot for coaches
