Situato a 13 chilometri da Sarreguemines, Wittring è un piccolo villaggio che si è sviluppato ai piedi di una collina in un'ansa della Saar
Dalla cappella sulla collina si può ammirare l'intero villaggio, nonché la Saar e il suo canale.
Il villaggio ha un porto con una capitaneria di porto.
Il porto dispone di 12 posti barca con acqua, elettricità, un'area picnic e un ristorante.
È presente anche un parcheggio per pullman
