Ancien Prieuré de Saint Arnoult

The Priory of Saint-Arnoult is one of the rare examples of late 15th century timber-frame and cob construction still visible. The eastern orientation of the facade and the double corbelling technique have contributed to the excellent conservation of the sculpted decoration of the lilières. The quality and finesse of the sculpture show that it is more the work of an artist than an executor.
