One of the last testimonies of the Romanesque art in Chaunois is in Pont-Saint-Mard, which shelters one of the most beautiful churches of the region. Dedicated to Saint-Médard, its construction dates back to the 12th century. It contains a nave, a transept topped by a bell tower and a choir. The nave is covered with a frame. The sculptor Georges Muguet realized the altar in 1959. The modern stained glass windows were made in 1960 by Max Ingrand. A curiosity of this church is the presence of strange modillions on its left wing.
