In spite of a turbulent history, punctuated by wars and torments over the centuries, many vestiges left by the first men have come down to us. The dolmen of the Pierre Laye located, in Vauxrezis, is to be placed among the first of them. This Neolithic dolmen was discovered in 1841. Classified as a historical monument in 1944, this large stone table is three meters long and two meters wide. It is supported by seven stones.
