A pesar de una historia turbulenta, salpicada de guerras y tormentos a lo largo de los siglos, han llegado hasta nosotros muchos vestigios dejados por los primeros hombres. El dolmen de Pierre Laye, en Vauxrezis, es uno de los primeros. Este dolmen neolítico fue descubierto en 1841. Clasificada como monumento histórico en 1944, esta gran mesa de piedra mide tres metros de largo y dos de ancho. Se apoya en siete piedras.
