A small 13 km long tributary of the Hérault, the Buèges has its source in Le Méjanel, at the level of a beautiful basin of limpid water. After a journey underground, the water, infiltrated in limestone terrain south of Larzac (La Vacquerie), here springs from the Séranne thanks to a layer of impermeable ground (exsurgence).
