A unique and little-known site that will leave a lasting impression: the Ban Saint-Jean. according to French army records, 300,000 Soviet prisoners of war passed through this camp during the Second World War. The path along what is now a military field offers a soothing stroll. Nature reclaims its rights over the ruins of the former barracks. At the end of the path, the stele rises up against a contemplative landscape. It was erected in memory of the camp's victims, of whom there were over 20,000.
