Description

The initiative was launched by the Association des Membres de l'Ordre du Mérite Agricole (AMOMA) Meuse, organizer of the National Congress of the Association of Medal Winners of the Order of Agricultural Merit in Verdun from June 17 to 19, 2016. In this context, AMOMA Meuse has decided to make up for the lack of recognition of rural women by erecting this monument.
In order to carry out this project, a public subscription has been set up to raise the necessary funds.

Made of Lorraine stone from Savonnières en Perthois and Jaumont, the work consists of a sculpture by Denis Mellinger and a base containing the medallion "Ordre du Mérite Agricole" and the following inscriptions
"HONOUR AND AGRICULTURE
1914-1918
1939-1945 »
