Housed in the former granaries of the town, the Bressuire museum evokes the history of the Bocage through recent archaeological discoveries and works of art (sculptures, paintings, silverware) mainly produced in the Bressuirais.
An important collection of ceramics representative of the local production "Saint Porchaire" is exposed, from the medieval basins and pots, to the famous earthenware and vases of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Bressuire is also the birthplace of Max Ingrand, one of the greatest French glass and stained glass artists. Come and discover this magician of glass through the exhibition dedicated to him!
