The library of Auch was officially created in 1791. Installed in the former chapel of the Carmelites of the 17th century, its old collection is rich of more than 21 000 manuscripts and incunabula.
It is also a place for exhibitions and meetings with authors, and where you can attend conferences, training courses, shows... Not forgetting the music library which has a large selection of jazz and classical albums.
On Thursday mornings, from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and outside school holidays, you can find the bilio-bus at the market, quai Lissagaray.
