La biblioteca di Auch fu creata ufficialmente nel 1791. Ospitata nell'ex cappella carmelitana del XVII secolo, la sua antica collezione contiene oltre 21.000 manoscritti e incunaboli.
È anche un luogo per mostre e incontri con gli autori, e dove è possibile partecipare a conferenze, corsi di formazione, spettacoli, ecc. Senza dimenticare la biblioteca musicale che dispone di un'ampia selezione di album jazz e classici.
Il giovedì mattina, dalle 8.30 alle 12.30 e al di fuori delle vacanze scolastiche, il bilio-bus si trova al mercato, in quai Lissagaray.
