The Maison Honoris Causa was born out of one man's passion for tea. From cup to cup and travel to travel, this fine gourmet has honed his palate and become an expert in the complex art of the tea ceremony. To penetrate the mysteries of this beverage, he visited many plantations in China, Ceylon, Nepal and Japan and acquired his know-how from pickers and producers around the world.
A great connoisseur of teas, this "Master Tea Brewer" is also an avid botanist and knows the virtues of plants at his fingertips. He selects and composes his tea blends and herbal teas by seeking the subtlety of taste, the delicacy of fragrance and the beauty of his compositions.
Always in search of perfection, his motto is "Nil sine labore", nothing happens without working.
