LA FERME AUX CERFS

At the gates of the Landes, in the commune of Le Houga, the Ferme aux Cerfs et Sangliers is a farm inn, a farm cannery located in the heart of the countryside.
This farm inn was born from a conversion of exploitation in 1986. Rich of this experience, the Saint-Lannes family propose you a traditional cooking of quality elaborated from the products of their farm.
Among the specialities of the house, you will be able to taste the garbure, the hure of wild boar, grills with wood fire (stag, fallow deer, wild boar, ox rib), stews, croustades. In short circuit, from the meadow to the plate (our motto), you will be able to accompany these excellent dishes with one of the 35 references of Gers wines.
Before or after the meal, you can go on a walking trail to discover the deer, wild boar, fallow deer and Gascon oxen parks in the heart of the breeding farm with more than 500 animals. During your walk, you may be lucky enough to see fawns and young bucks being born in the spring and in the autumn, you will have the privilege of listening to the stag's bellowing.
