Ideally situated in the Louis David garden, the Villa Ignota, built between 1895 and 1908 for the mayor of the time, Louis-Théodore DAVID, is typical of the seaside architecture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It played host to some of the most important personalities of the era: artists, writers, politicians?
Today, it is a cultural center, hosting numerous painting and visual arts exhibitions from March to October.
It also houses a small town museum, which preserves some of the remains found on the site of the Gallo-Roman ruins, as well as a collection of ancient coins, some municipal archives and manuscripts.
Access is free and open to all.
