L'Ouest Limousin is in the heart of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park and welcomes you to Oradour-sur-Vayres. This small village, surrounded by the surrounding countryside, is one of the starting points for the "voie verte", a 13 km asphalt trail that follows the route of an old railroad line to Châlus. The whole family can tackle this itinerary by bike, rollerblade or on foot. Hiking enthusiasts will also be delighted with the wide range of circuits on offer.
Since spring 2022, the Tourist Office team has been welcoming you to its new space, combining tourist information, holiday advice and the "Boutique des Créateurs", featuring local crafts and delicacies. Right next door, its PNR museum space "les clés du Périgord-Limousin" tells the local history of the hardwood lumber industry.
