19th century - Wood and limestone.
Vineyard houses are not exclusively intended for the shelter and rest of winegrowers. The Vigier house in Caumont was used for several years as a servant's quarters. Others were used to store the vine-shovel barrow, the tombereau, the torte plow or the decavaillonneuse, when the cavaillons weren't being pulled with a spade. This very dilapidated cabin is built entirely of half-timbering filled with cob. The only one of its kind in the canton, it bears witness to a construction technique rarely used in the département for a vineyard hut.
