The pottery of the Whale in Laàs is a rather atypical place. Hervé Billard has his workshop there with all his creations, but it is outside that there is a strange specimen: the wood kiln, or anagama kiln (Japanese school), strangely reminiscent of a whale. Hervé Billard will not fail to explain to you with passion his job as a stoneware potter and the exceptional use of this underground kiln which allows him to produce pieces of great finesse, sometimes even original (whales). All these enamels are lead-free (also dishwasher and microwave safe). Courses are also offered for children and adults.
